At Over Beyont Homestead, every ingredient in our cold-process soaps is chosen with purpose. We believe in using simple, high-quality fats, natural clays, and botanicals that nourish, protect, and respect your skin's natural barrier.

Raw Goat’s Milk

Raw Goats Milk offers some wonderful benefits for natural skincare, which makes it such a nourishing base for handmade soaps and lotions:

  • Gentle Exfoliation: It naturally contains lactic acid, a gentle alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that helps slough away dead skin cells, revealing brighter and smoother skin without irritation.

  • Deep Moisture: It is rich in natural fats, butterfat, and essential fatty acids that deeply hydrate and lock in moisture, making it especially soothing for dry or sensitive skin.

  • Vitamin Rich: It is packed with vitamins—particularly Vitamin A, which helps support skin cell renewal, and Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the skin.

  • Skin Microbiome Friendly: The natural proteins and amino acids help maintain a balanced skin barrier, soothing inflammation and calming conditions like eczema or psoriasis.

Nourishing Butters & Fats

Shea Butter
A rich, moisturizing butter high in fatty acids and vitamins that helps soften skin and lock in long-lasting moisture.

Cocoa Butter
Adds a protective barrier to the skin to hold in moisture while giving our soap bars a hard, long-lasting quality.

Plant Oils

Olive Oil
An ultra-gentle, antioxidant-rich oil that forms the conditioning base of our soaps, making them exceptionally mild for daily use.

Castor Oil
A natural humectant that draws moisture to the skin and creates a rich, creamy, and bubbly lather.

Coconut Oil
Provides deep cleansing power and creates a wonderful, fluffy lather that cleans without feeling harsh.

Clays & Natural Additives

Kaolin Clay
A delicate, gentle clay that absorbs mild impurities without stripping natural oils, giving our soap a silky, smooth slip.

Activated Charcoal
Known for its deep-cleansing properties, it helps draw out excess oil and dirt from pores for a refreshed feel.
